Tunisia: ALTRAD CEDRIA helps support beekeeping

Altrad and all its subsidiaries are resolutely focused on building a better future for everyone. As part of this sustainable development policy, the group has implemented a global approach in favour of the environment and biodiversity. Beekeeping is one of the many components of this approach. It is an economically and ecologically sustainable activity; it is not only profitable, but also protects people, animals, plants and the bees themselves.

With this in mind, ALTRAD CEDRIA recently donated ten mother hives to a beekeeper located in the area where the subsidiary is based. The aim was to consolidate this micro-company by doubling its activity. In addition to the social impact, the non-intensive practices of this beekeeper allow him to participate in economic development on a daily basis within the framework of an approach that respects the environment and biodiversity.
