The ALTRAD Group, through its endowment fund ALTRAD SOLIDARITY, supports the Montluc Resistance and Freedom Prize

The ALTRAD Group, through its ALTRAD SOLIDARITY endowment fund, is supporting the Montluc Resistance and Freedom Prize and has thus made it possible to support the Association of Survivors of Montluc in financing a major educational event.

To mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Montluc prison in Lyon, the Association of Survivors of the prison et their descendants presented a theatrical version of the testimonial book written by Raymond Leculier, a 20-year-old Lyonnais who was imprisoned in Montluc and then liberated on 25 August 1944.

The show included a recitation of extracts from the book by actor @Bertrand Soulier, with interludes by violin virtuoso @Rouslan Rubstov. A general introduction was also given by the prosecutor @Jean-Olivier Viout, the same man who investigated the trial of Klaus Barbie.

The ALTRAD Group, through its ALTRAD SOLIDARITY endowment fund, made a financial contribution to the staging of this show, which brought together more than 450 pupils from secondary schools in Lyon to help young people learn, understand and, above all, remember.

@Fanny Altrad (ALTRAD SOLIDARITY Managing Director), @Alexandra Mogg (ALTRAD SOLIDARITY Sponsorship Director) and @Antoine Martinez (ALTRAD Group Head of Communications) were present to attend the performance, which followed a visit to Montluc Prison, a poignant and very intense moment.
