In Paris, in anticipation of the 2024 Olympic Games, access equipment installed by Altrad Arnholdt for the cleaning of the Luxor Obelisk (December 2021)

The Luxor Obelisk, an emblematic 23-metre granite stone decorated with hieroglyphs, located in the centre of the Place de la Concorde in Paris, will be one of the future strategic locations for the 2024 Olympic Games. A scaffolding of more than 30 metres in height has recently been installed all around it. It will serve as a support for a cleaning operation of the famous monument, respecting the specifications imposed by the French Ministry of Culture. To facilitate access, the company Altrad Arnholdt installed an ad hoc scaffolding structure that will allow the operators to work in the best conditions and in complete safety.
