Azerbaijan Contract Award – Fabric Maintenance

The Altrad Group is delighted to announce that SOCARCape, the joint venture between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic and Altrad, have been awarded a three-year extension till May 2021 of their Fabric term maintenance contract in Azerbaijan with a Major Multi-National Oil and Gas Company.

The contract worth an estimated $90m, covering both Onshore and Offshore facilities, is a strategically important win for the joint-venture, and a landmark award for the Altrad Middle East and Caspian Business unit.

Founded in 2010, the SOCARCape Joint Venture is the recognised market leader in Industrial Services within Azerbaijan, whilst also expanding service delivery into Georgia.

Azerbaijan is the oldest Oil Producer in the world, SOCAR is the wholly state-owned national oil and gas company in Azerbaijan, the company produces oil and natural gas from onshore and offshore fields in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.
