Altrad acquires Edilservizi Piacenza SRL and creates Altrad Servizi Italia to accelerate growth in the Italian market

Since December 13th, 2023, Edilservizi Piacenza SRL has been an integral part of the Altrad Group; it becomes now Altrad Servizi Italia SRL. This union will enable Edilservizi Piacenza and Altrad [World leader in industrial services and the manufacture of equipment dedicated to the construction sector] to join forces in order to occupy a leading position in the Italian market, whose dynamism is currently opening up great opportunities.

The integration of the 35 “new” employees into the Altrad Group will be a smooth process, since Edilservizi Piacenza SRL had already been an Altrad Italia customer for 20 years as part of its service activity, with design, rental, assembly and dismantling of scaffolding on construction and maintenance sites, in sectors such as building, civil engineering and infrastructure (including viaducts), engineering structures (including historic monuments) and industry, which already accounts for 10% of the company’s business.

Gianni Pellegrini, Managing Director of Altrad Italia (the Group's historic subsidiary in Italy), and Ran Oren, Joint CEO of the Altrad Group, unanimously declared: “We are extremely pleased at the prospect of this merger with Edilservizi Piacenza, which has long been a partner of choice for Altrad Italia. This acquisition will make it possible to write a new chapter in the history of Altrad in Italy: Altrad Servizi Italia, the new entity thus renamed, will in fact have all the assets needed to grow very quickly organically, particularly in industry, a sector that offers significant potential on the Italian market. Altrad’s expertise in this field will act as an accelerator for this development".

From the point of view of the management of Altrad Servizi Italia, there will be no change: the existing teams have been strengthened and remain at the disposal of clients and suppliers to further develop their joint activities.
